INFRATECH - ENGINEERED

ELIRE Infra’s Smart Hub system is modular and engineered for scalable, rapid deployment. Each hexagonal platform integrates a central moon pool for protected subsea access, utility routing, and motion damping, with marine grade steel construction and buoyancy modules ensuring compliance with BV and BS maritime standards.

These can also be delivered as prefabricated kits-of-parts in standard ISO containers if fabricated using aluminium rather than steel, and can deployed globally by road, rail, or sea.

Developed over three years of cross-disciplinary collaboration between naval architecture, marine, structural, electrical, and subsea engineering, the Smart Hub, plug and play system, represents a smarter, resilient, and future-ready infrastructure solution for ports, energy, and maritime operations.

SUB STRUCTURES

The sub structure variations follows standard shipbuilding practice. One variation for example uses a primary construction material is Grade A mild steel with a yield strength of 235 MPa.

The platforms are designed in line with Bureau Veritas Rules for the Classification of Floating Establishments (BV NR 580 DNI R00 E).

SUPER STRUCTURES

Smart Hubs support interchangeable superstructures, such as the passenger-focused Lucia Building and the service-oriented Technical Building.

Each is lightweight, prefabricated, and modular, allowing rapid assembly, flexible layouts, and seamless integration with the floating base for diverse operational and commercial uses.

MODULAR INTERCONNECTORS

At the core of each Smart Hub, the modular connector system links multiple floating units into stable, reconfigurable platforms.

Serving as the structural backbone, it enables scalable, resilient integration with anchoring and energy systems for multifunctional waterfront infrastructure.

ANCHORING SYSTEM

The Smart Hub can be secured using modular anchoring and mooring systems designed for near-shore floating assets.

These systems include seabed anchors, tensioning elements, and flexible connectors to maintain station-keeping while allowing for controlled movement under environmental loads
