SMART HUBS

Smart Hubs are ELIRE’s advanced floating infrastructure platforms designed to help ports, harbours and cities expand capacity, diversify revenue and achieve sustainability targets.

Unlike traditional pontoons or barges, Smart Hubs are agile, scalable and customisable, offering rapid modernisation without the cost, time or environmental impact of conventional expansion.

 

Their plug-and-play design combines 80% standardised engineering for speed and efficiency with 20% customisable features to meet specific client requirements.

Built with proven and emerging technologies, Smart Hubs enable flexible infrastructure upgrades, from clean energy integration to terminal expansion, all while meeting the highest safety and performance standards.

POWER HUBS

Power Hubs are the clean energy engine of the Smart Hub ecosystem, purpose-built to help ports transition to zero-emission operations.

These floating microgrids deliver up to 5 megawatts of renewable power directly to vessels and port facilities using hydrogen, solar and biofuel-powered microturbines.

 

By positioning energy generation offshore, ELIRE Power Hubs reduce reliance on traditional shore power and ease land-based infrastructure constraints, while addressing safety and regulatory considerations for hydrogen storage.

Modular, scalable and future-ready, Power Hubs give ports and maritime operators a resilient, low-emission power supply that supports decarbonisation goals and strengthens energy security.

LUCIA BUILDING

Lucia is ELIRE’s circular modular building system, designed to be rapidly deployed on floating or land-based infrastructure. Developed as a flexible, containerised kit of parts, Lucia balances design elegance with off-grid performance. Its structural trees, green roofing, energy-efficient systems, and biophilic design allow it to serve as a hospitality hub, event venue, technical operations centre or cultural pavilion — wherever scalable infrastructure is needed most.

Each unit is fully customisable in size (21m, 33m or 45m diameters), and can be assembled, reversed, and reconfigured with speed. Solar-powered systems support heating, cooling, and water management, while plug-and-play service cores streamline setup in any location.

GANGWAYS

ELIRE’s gangway systems are engineered for flexibility, safety and efficiency, connecting shore to hub through a modular, scalable design. Built around interchangeable linkspans supported by compact mini-hubs, our approach adapts to a wide range of operational and environmental conditions.

The modular linkspan system accommodates varying span lengths, height differences and tidal movements, while ensuring safe access for passengers, vehicles and equipment. Mini-hubs provide buoyancy and stability, allowing configurations to scale without extensive shore-side works.

Available in aluminium, steel or composite materials, ELIRE gangways can be configured for pedestrian, light vehicle or heavy-duty industrial use. The system’s modularity allows rapid installation, cost-efficient maintenance and easy reconfiguration for future needs.

Whether deployed as a permanent port connection, a temporary event link, or a dynamic multi-span access system, ELIRE gangways deliver reliable, adaptable access that meets the highest safety and durability standards.

ELIRE360

End-to-End Infrastructure Planning in One Unified Platform

ELIRE360 is ELIRE’s proprietary SaaS platform that brings together visualisation, smart planning, data intelligence, and live digital twin services into one seamless workflow. Designed for ports, cities, and developers, it transforms how floating and coastal infrastructure is conceived, approved, and operated — speeding delivery, reducing risk, and increasing value at every stage.
